This must be so frustrating for you and I’m sorry my suggestion hasn’t worked for you.  I notice from posts on other matching sites that people are finding it very difficult.  Maybe you are right to suggest that many of the refugees believe that the only place to live in the UK is London because they mistakenly think that is the only place they can get a job.  My guest didn’t respond to me immediately so I contacted her again and she explained that she had been doing some research on job opportunities and the cost of living in our area.

They might also have discovered how long it takes for visas to be approved here compared to other companies in Europe!
